Just a lock and key
needing imperfection that
perfectly matches
Until we remove our masks, we can never see our true selves.
Waiting for my time to come,
watching my days slip away.
Laying my weary head on Scheherazade's breast I pull my traveling cloak over my shoulders, anxious for what lies on the road ahead.
Craving for the cloak of Zen
present in that moment when
breath and heart and conscious blend
like euphoric waves from Gaea's hands
cupped to drink the flowing wine.
There was blood on my
tongue and honey on my lips
with my throat still parched
We get to choose between broken shells and stars
each time we decide whether we are
bound to the Earth and its jealous gravity
or to the Moon and weightless insanity
